Someone else mentioned the recent refresh of the MSE site on Twitter today as well and as much as I'd love to take credit I doubt it had much to do with us, although as the editor of Web Designer Magazine knows Martin Lewis you never know! You've got a fair point about the visual design. In all honesty we had very little time to produce the concepts and I'm sure if we'd had more time we could have retained the character a little more. It was great to see the process you go through when designing – thanks for sharing. The final outcome is definitely a lot clearer and easy to use but it’s lost some of the character it had. Though that’s mostly to do with the visual look though rather than the wireframe you developed.
