JustGiving a little something back to Brand New
In case you’re not familiar with the site Brand New its sole purpose is to chronicle and provide opinions on corporate and brand identity work, focusing mostly on identity design and a modest amount of packaging.
Although its been awhile since I’ve done any brand identity work its nice to keep a hand in and Brand New really helps me do just that.
So when I received an email from JustGiving about their rebranding I thought I’d pass the news on to Brand New. I’ve been using JustGiving for several years and for many events so its nice to see it finally get the attention it deserves.
Besides the rebrand the redesigned site looks great, they definitely seem to have made a conscious decision to focus on usability as its far cleaner and simpler than before and blue underlined links abound (purple once visited, naturally). I can’t find any information on an external agency being involved so I’m assuming credit has to go to Will Hardy, UX designer at JG, and Elizabeth Kessick (Product and Usability).
Today Brand New published a feature on the rebrand and very kindly tipped their imaginary hat in my direction. If you’re interested take a butchers at the post ‘A Burst of Charity‘ on Brand New.
